Creating a New Training Program in the L&D Module

To configure a new training program in the Learning & Development (L&D) module, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access L&D Module in your system.

  1. Click on Training Program section.
  2. Select the training format as: 
    • Workshop Training: Conducted by a trainer at a specific date and time.
    • Self-Learning Training: Self training module where Employees review uploaded contents and participate in the assessment to finish the training.


Step 2: Click the Add New button in the top-right corner of the screen and fill out the form with the following details:

Mandatory Fields

  • Training Level: Select the level based on expertise or experience, e.g., Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced.
  • Training Type: Choose training type from available ‘Training Type’ list, e.g., Technical Skill, Personal Etiquette, IT Training etc.
  • Training Category: Choose a relevant category from available in list.
  • Program Title: Provide a clear, descriptive title for the program.
  • Program Description: Provide an in-depth explanation of the program's content, objectives, goals, and expected outcomes.
  • Program Trainer (For Workshop Only): Choose whether the trainer for the program will be from within the organization or an external expert. The list of available trainers should be pre-configured.
  • Training Language: Specify the language for the program.
  • Program Moderator: The program moderator is the person responsible for managing the training program, training contents, and attendees’ attendance. This person can be selected from a list of employees.
  • Visibility: Define who can access or view the program based on roles, departments, or grades. This allows for customizing visibility based on the program's target audience


Additional Configuration Options (Checkboxes or Toggles)

  • Training Program Certificate: Enable this if participants should receive a certificate upon completion.
  • Assessment: Choose if assessment required for this Training program.
  • Allow RH Enrollment: Enable if Reporting Heads approval required for employee’s enrollment in a training program.


Step 3: After filling in all details, click the Save button. The new training program will now be successfully configured and available in the L&D module.
