Troubleshooting Mobile App Issues: "Loader Keeps Loading" and "Temporary Server Down" Errors on Mobile App

When employees encounter issues with the mobile app where the loader keeps loading or the app shows the error "Temporary Server Down," the following steps can help diagnose and resolve these issues:

User-Side Issues to Check

1. HRMS Portal may be blocked in Office Network. Thus ask employees to connect to the mobile app using their mobile data instead of the office Wi-Fi network. This can help determine if the issue is related to network restrictions.

2. Ensure that the mobile app has the necessary permissions to access the internet. This can be checked in the app settings on the User's mobile device.

3. Try accessing the HRMS portal URL directly from a mobile browser. If the URL does not load, there might be server-side issues.

4. Check if you have a stable and smooth internet connection in your Mobile Device.


Server-Side Issues to Check (For On-Premise Users only)

First try to open application URL outside your network and if it doesn't work, follow below steps.

5. Server where Timelabs is configured must be powered on.

6. Verify that the WAN interface, which the application ports use, is active and stable. Check for any connectivity issues that might be affecting the WAN interface.

7. Ensure that the network firewall is not blocking the necessary application ports. Verify that the ports required by the mobile app are open and accessible.

8. Check Internet Bandwidth and ensure that the server has a decent upload speed, with at least 20 Mbps recommended. You may run a speed test to verify the upload and download speeds are sufficient.

9. Ping your hostname and check if your public IP is mapped correctly with your hostname.

10. Check your SSL certificate's validity. SSL must be valid for your host name.

11. Confirm that you have the latest Timelabs release installed on the server. Check this with the Timelabs Support team.
