A Talent Pool is a valuable resource for HR to store profiles of talented candidates who were not hired or unable to join during previous recruitment processes. These candidates can be referred to for future openings, speeding up recruitment and reducing costs.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to move a candidate to the Talent Pool in the RMS Module:
Moving a Candidate to the Talent Pool
Only Admin and authorized HR users have the ability to move a candidate's profile to the Talent Pool. For HR users, this functionality is controlled based on the permissions assigned to their role. Follow below Process to Move a Candidate to the Talent Pool in RMS Module:
Step 1:
In Recruitment Module, click on the Application icon located on the left-side menu
Step 2:
The Application page will display a list of all candidates along with their respective details and stages.
At top right side, locate the second icon, which is specifically for moving candidates to the Talent Pool.
- Select the desired candidate(s) from the list.
- Click on the second icon to move the selected candidate(s) to the Talent Pool.
Step 3:
On next pop-up, update the following details:
- Job Profile
- Department
- Ratings
- Remark
After entering the necessary information, click on the Save icon. The candidate will now be successfully moved to the Talent Pool.
Step 4:
To view the candidates in the Talent Pool, click on the Talent Pool icon on the left-side menu. Here you will see below options under the Action menu to manage a candidate:
Use these options as needed to manage Talent Pool candidates effectively.
Move Candidate Back to a New Stage
If you want to move a candidate back to a new stage:
- Go to the Talent Pool section and locate the desired candidate.
- Under the Action column, click on the Assign New Job option.
When you click on this option, below page will appear. HR needs to fill-up this Job Assignment page.
After completing the details, click Save to finalize the reassignment. The candidate will now be moved out of the Talent Pool and assigned to the selected job profile and stage.
